What You Need

• Your Aqua Moss dry sea moss
• A large bowl
• Filtered or spring water
• A high-speed blender
• A clean, airtight glass jar

Four Steps to Sea Moss Gel

01. Rinse

Thoroughly rinse your dried sea moss with cool, clean water to remove any natural sea salt, sand or ocean debris. Rinse several times until the water runs clear.

02. Soak

Place the cleaned sea moss in a large bowl and cover it completely with fresh spring or filtered water. Soak for 12 to 24 hours at room temperature. The sea moss will expand and soften.

03. Blend

Drain the soaking water and add the softened sea moss to a high-speed blender. Add fresh filtered or spring water a little at a time and blend until smooth and creamy.

04. Chill

Transfer your freshly blended gel into a clean, airtight glass container and refrigerate. It thickens as it chills.

How Much Gel Will You Get?

• 1 oz of dry sea moss makes about 16 oz of gel.
• 2 oz makes about 32 oz.
• 4 oz makes about 64 oz.

Tips for Smooth Gel

• Add water gradually. A thin gel is easy to thicken with more soaked sea moss, and a thick gel is easy to thin.
